I am a chemist working in the fields of medical imaging development, molecular biology, genetics and its applications for personalized medicine, with special focus on oncology. I posses a highly multidisciplinary background with expertise ranging from organic and nanoparticle synthesis, biochemistry and molecular biology techniques, and multiple in vivo imaging modalities.
My scientific goal can be summarized in the development, implementation and validation of novel strategies to interrogate normal and altered organs/tissues in vivo using non-invasive imaging technologies, and to use this information to foster personalized medicine, guiding the new imaging/therapeutic approaches to improve individual patient outcome.
